Youth classes are grouped by school grade. Pre-K & Kindergarten, Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6 classes are based on the “All Things New” Episcopal curriculum for children.  Weekly Sunday morning classes focus on best-loved Bible stories and cover the basic belief foundations of the Christian faith.  Children learn about fellowship, bible skills, baptism, outreach as well as a variety of other topics.

Some of our kids agreed to tell us what they thought about their Sunday School experience:

“Jesus expects kindness, not meanness.”

The best thing about Sunday School is, “meeting friends, doing crafts and all the great teachers.”

Grades 7-8: Episcopal Curriculum for Youth and Living the Good News

The Episcopal Curriculum for Youth helps young people explore the matters of being called by God, called by Christ, and serving in Christ’s name in the world.  Units of six weeks help to deepen knowledge of the scripture and of our place in the story of the people of God.

The Living the Good News curriculum provides ways for young people to talk about the weekly Sunday scripture lessons and connect them with their lives.

Grades 9-12: The Seekers

The emphasis of the Seekers program encourages leaders and group participants alike to wonder, discover and reflect on their lives as Christians.  Focused units work toward understanding four distinct topics: Faith, Life, Self and Values.
