Last Sunday we celebrated Dunstan Day with worship, fellowship, laughter, and a few spirited rounds of Dunstan-themed bingo. It was a joyful reminder that the Church is more than a place we attend. It is a community where we learn together, serve together, and grow together in faith.
That spirit continues this week as new opportunities for formation begin, familiar ministries gather, and we prepare for a busy and joyful season ahead.

Paul Among the People Begins Sunday
This Sunday at 11:45 a.m. in the CFC, we'll begin Paul Among the People.
Paul's letters have shaped Christianity for nearly two thousand years, but they were written to real communities facing real challenges in a world very different from our own. Together we'll explore Paul's writings in their original context, discovering how his words would have sounded to the people who first heard them and why they can feel surprising, challenging, and even foreign today.
By learning to hear Paul as his first audiences heard him, we may find fresh ways to hear his message in our own time. No preparation is required. Just bring your curiosity and join the conversation.
Wednesday Dinner & Formation
Our summer Wednesday series inspired by Fr. Gregory Boyle's Cherished Belonging continues this week. Rev. Deacon Alan Barrow is leading conversations around two simple but transformative ideas: that every person is unshakably good, and that we belong to one another.
Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. in Daniels Hall for a suggested donation of $10, followed by discussion from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. No reading is required. Bring a friend, neighbor, or family member and join us for an evening of good food, meaningful conversation, and thoughtful reflection.
Summer Movie Series Begins Friday
Our Summer Movie Series kicks off Friday, June 19. Junior Warden Maggie Brooks will lead an evening of dinner, a film, and conversation.
Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 6:00 p.m. Our first film will be Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret? Future movie nights are planned for July 22 and August 5.
Parish Work Day
This Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon, we'll gather for a Parish Work Day. Whether you can stay for the entire morning or simply lend a hand for a little while, your help is appreciated. Caring for our buildings and grounds is one of the many ways we support the ministry that happens here each week.
Knit Together
Also on Saturday, our Knit Together group will meet Noon. Bring your current project, learn a new skill, or simply enjoy good company. All are welcome, regardless of experience level.
Looking Ahead: Pride Service
On Sunday, June 28 at 5:00 p.m., Saint Dunstan's will host our second annual Pride Service in partnership with Trinity Episcopal Church, Christ Church Episcopal Church, and Saint Aidan's Episcopal Church.
Together we will celebrate God's love for all people, give thanks for the gifts of LGBTQ+ people in the life of the Church, and continue our witness as a community with inclusive hearts. A reception will follow the service.
