Six New Members, One Parish Family

Last Sunday was a landmark day for Saint Dunstan's. Bishop Poulson visited to confirm Susan Norman, Doug Fishback, David Logan, and Samantha Resser, and to receive Sara Carrell and Amber McHenry into the Episcopal Church. Six people stood up in front of this parish and made their commitment official. If you see them this Sunday, offer your congratulations.

This Sunday's readings turn to a quieter but related kind of commitment: Joseph forgives the brothers who sold him into slavery, and Jesus tells Peter that forgiveness isn't a number you hit and then stop counting. Belonging to a community, new or longstanding, asks the same thing of all of us — showing up for each other, again and again.

THIS SUNDAY

Join us at 10:00 a.m. for Rooted Together and Holy Communion, followed by Sunday Forum at 11:45 a.m. Following coffee hour, stop by the old preschool space for a sale as we clear out the classrooms — puzzles, games, toys, and organizers, priced to go. Note: no potluck today. It's moving to September 20 for Ginny Harban's 80th birthday celebration.
